myjataka.com ("we", "us", or "the Site") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Our Vedic astrology AI readings are for entertainment and reference purposes only and do not constitute professional advice of any kind.

Information you provide:

• Date, time, and place of birth (used for chart calculation)
• Name (optional, used only for report headings)
• Gender (used for astrological interpretation)
• Email address (collected by our payment processor at checkout only)

Automatically collected:

• IP address (for daily free-chart rate limiting; not stored long-term)
• Browser language preference (for automatic language detection)
• Page visit data (via Google Analytics; see below)

• Birth data is used for astronomical calculations and AI report generation
• IP addresses are used solely to enforce the daily free-chart limit
• Email (passed by Creem or Dodo) is used for payment confirmation and support
• Anonymized usage data is used to improve our product

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Supabase: Database storage for charts and reports (US servers)
• Creem: Payment processing for international transactions
• Dodo: Payment processing for customers in India, via UPI, Indian-issued cards, and Apple Pay
• OpenAI / aixhan: AI report generation — birth data is sent to the AI API for analysis
• Google Analytics: Anonymous page visit statistics; no personal identity tracking
• Google AdSense: Shows ads on some pages. An ad request sends your IP address and browser information to Google. Google and the partners that serve ads with it use cookies to choose ads based on your visits to this site and other sites, including interest-based ads. We do not send your name, birth data, or email to the ad system.
• Vercel: Website hosting

Your chart data and generated reports are stored in our database so you can access them at any time. We do not proactively delete generated report data. To request deletion, email support@myjataka.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

We use the following cookies:

• lang: Stores your language preference (ZH/EN), valid for 1 year
• Google Analytics: Anonymous visit tracking cookies
• Google advertising cookies: Used to choose ads, limit how often an ad appears, and measure ad performance. You can turn off personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some other vendors' personalized-ad cookies at aboutads.info.
